I keep thinking about Alfred Webster Hyams and his children. It's so difficult to grasp how senseless acts of violence leave such a profound impact on families. I can't imagine the pain his kids will grow up with, losing their dad in such a sudden and tragic way. It sounds like he was a backbone for his family, especially after the loss of their mom. I'm also curious if anyone has heard more about the person of interest apprehended in Tangipahoa Parish. Given the tight-knit communities, I'm wondering if there are local rumors or insights that haven't made it into the news yet. It's frustrating when information seems to stall. Does anyone in the area have more details, or has there been any movement from local law enforcement on this? It's just tough to see another family shattered by violence.
