I've been following Elijah Vashon Parker's case closely, and my thoughts are with his loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. What strikes me is the location of the crime. The 300 block of Alpha Mill Lane sees a lot of foot and vehicle traffic, so it’s hard to believe no one saw anything. I'm curious if the police have been able to gather any leads from surveillance cameras in the area. It seems like there would be a decent amount of security footage, especially with it being so close to CSX railroad tracks and other businesses. I really hope someone with information comes forward soon. It’s crucial for the community to feel safe again, and for Elijah’s family to get the closure they desperately need. Does anyone happen to know if there have been any public safety meetings or forums held by local officials since this tragedy? It might be an opportunity for the neighborhood to come together and hopefully aid in the investigation.
