Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Isaiah Ramos-Bostwick, and something that's been on my mind is the influence of social media in all this. It's just devastating to think that such young lives are changed forever in what feels like an instant. Do you think the accessibility of certain content online might play a role in pushing kids towards violent behavior? Isaiah was clearly a bright kid with dreams and a passion for his sports and music. It makes you wonder if pressures or influences from social media could contribute to such a tragic event. I also can’t help but feel deeply for Isaiah’s family. Losing a child under such horrific circumstances must be unimaginable. I hope that through this investigation, there might be some light shed on how communities can come together to prevent tragedies like this in the future. What do you all think? Could the online world be part of what led to this awful situation?

Has anyone else wondered about the impact that this tragedy is having on Isaiah's classmates and teachers? I can't help but think that it must be an incredibly tough time for them. He was more than just a student; he was a teammate and friend to so many. Being in the 11th grade, a lot of his friends would have been planning their futures with him, whether that meant football games, hanging out, or dreaming of the next big thing after high school. His passion for sports and music made him a central part of the school community. My thoughts are with everyone at Jackson Public High School as they navigate such an unimaginable loss. Schools often rally together during periods like this, but it’s just heartbreaking that they have to.
