I've been following the discussion on Mark Markquez's case, and one thing that really sticks out to me is the location where it all happened. I used to live around the southwest Houston area not too far from 11107 South Post Oak Road, and it's absolutely jarring to think of such violence occurring where many folks consider a part of their routine lives. What makes it all the more unsettling is the randomness of the attack. It seems like Mark was just going about his night, not expecting anything like this could happen. I can't even begin to imagine how his family and the woman who was with him during the attack are coping with this senseless tragedy. It just feels like another reminder of how fragile life can be and how unpredictable the world is sometimes. Does anyone know if there’s been any progress on identifying the suspects?
