Clarence Ivy Toms, known as C. Ivy Toms, tragically lost his life on December 24, 1926, in Los Angeles, California. At the young age of 24, Toms was working at a pharmacy when a robbery took place. During the hold-up, a shootout ensued between the robbers and the police. Unfortunately, Toms was caught in the crossfire and was fatally shot.
