Has anyone else been following the details of William Shinn's case on Patricia Drive? My heart goes out to his family and friends during this absolutely devastating time. I was particularly struck by how quickly the San Antonio PD acted. The fact that they had a perimeter set up and got the SWAT team involved tells me they were taking this very seriously. I've read that those tense situations can take a while to de-escalate, but it seems like they handled it efficiently and safely, which is a relief for the surrounding neighborhood. Salim Ben Abidi being taken into custody without any complications is at least a small bit of solace in an otherwise horrific situation. I hope the family finds the strength to get through the upcoming legal process, and justice is served for William. It's just such a senseless loss.

It's really disturbing to read about what happened to William Shinn on Patricia Drive. I can't begin to imagine the pain his family and friends must be going through right now. I noticed in the updates that Salim Ben Abidi's bond was set at $350,000. Does anyone else think that feels low given the circumstances? I understand that bond amounts can vary, but considering the severity of the charges, I'm surprised it's not higher. I hope the court proceedings bring justice for William and provide some sense of closure for his loved ones. Sending strength to everyone impacted by this tragedy.
