I was thinking about how absolutely difficult the upcoming holidays are going to be for Anjuan’s family. With all the joy and celebration around, it has to be unimaginable facing this kind of loss. I came across a post from Anjuan’s uncle, Roy, where he pleaded for an end to the violence, and it resonates so deeply. It’s just heartbreaking thinking about all the futures being stolen like this. I hope the police get some solid leads soon. The release of those image details is a step forward, but it’s going to take the community rallying together to bring justice for Anjuan. My thoughts are with his family during this time.
