It's so tragic to lose two lives in such a senseless act of violence. I've been reading up on the case and can't stop thinking about D'andre Weaver’s dedication to his job, even visiting on his night off to look out for his crew. It shows what kind of person he was—dedicated and caring. I can't imagine the pain his loved ones are going through right now. What really breaks my heart is how such an attempt to keep peace ended in such tragedy. If anyone here has been to Queen's Cabaret or knows about how security works there, could they share more insights? Does it usually get heated between patrons and staff? I feel like understanding more about the environment might help make some sense of this horrible situation. My thoughts are with D'andre’s family and Glenntavis McCorey's too.
I've been thinking a lot about the impact on the community whenever tragedies like this occur. My heart goes out to the families of D'andre Weaver and Glenntavis McCorey. It's not just the immediate family that suffers; friends, neighbors, and the entire community feel the weight of such a loss. I’ve read that D'andre was a beloved figure, known for spreading positivity. It's hard to imagine the void left behind by someone who brought people together.
What stands out to me is the role of community in these moments. In some cases, people may hold back from sharing what they know because of fear or other concerns. But if anyone out there was at Queen's Cabaret and saw or heard anything that might help, please consider speaking up. Often, it only takes one courageous person to step forward for others to do the same.
To D'andre's family and friends, I hope you find comfort in the love and memories you shared with him. Let's stay hopeful that the truth will surface and justice will be served for both D'andre and Glenntavis.
