It's been hard to process the loss of both Andy Wayne Curtis Galloway, Sr. and Chrisavion Deontay Green here in Amarillo. My thoughts go out to their families during this incredibly difficult time. One particular detail that stuck out to me was Andy’s character as described by those who knew him. Being the oldest of fourteen siblings must have been quite a responsibility, and from what I've read, he seemed to embrace it fully. It seems like he made a point to look out for his family, especially his kids and granddaughter. Nicknames like "BamBam" suggest he had a softer side with those close to him, contrasting with his tougher, protective public persona. As the legal case unfolds, I hope justice is swift and thorough. But beyond the crime itself, it’s heartbreaking to think of the ripple effects—two lives tragically ended and loved ones left picking up the pieces. It’s a reminder of how quickly things can change, and how deeply a community can be affected in the aftermath. Please feel free to share more memories of Andy and Chrisavion. Keeping their stories alive might offer some comfort to those mourning their loss.
