Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking about the role music played in Uncle Tommy's life, especially during these troubling times. It's incredibly touching to hear how he was known as "the 6th Temptation" for his beautiful voice back in the days with the Honey Waves. It seems like music wasn't just a hobby for him but a part of his identity and, perhaps, his source of strength through life's hardships, like surviving cancer twice. In the wake of his tragic passing, I've seen several community members come together, sharing memories of him singing at local events and how those performances brought a sense of unity and hope. It speaks volumes about how cherished he truly was, not just as a friend or neighbor, but as a pillar of culture and tradition within Muskegon. It breaks my heart thinking about how a man who was so full of life and had such a profound impact on those around him could be taken in such an awful manner. Remembering him through music seems fitting, and perhaps organizing a tribute concert or a community sing-along in his honor could be a meaningful way to celebrate his life and legacy. It might also help in healing some of the pain this senseless act has inflicted on our town. Thoughts? Anyone else have fond memories or stories about Uncle Tommy they'd like to share? Stay safe and take care of each other. - Sarah
