Eddie Mejia’s family must be reeling from this devastation. It’s unimaginable, especially during a time of year that should be full of togetherness and hope. What truly makes this case puzzling is the entire sequence of how Eddie ended up at the hospital. I’ve been following this case and can’t stop thinking about the friend or relative who drove him there. They played such a crucial role in trying to save him. Whoever it was, they likely witnessed the aftermath and had to make quick decisions, possibly under dangerous circumstances. Makes you wonder what kind of trauma they’re dealing with too. And can they offer any more details that could crack this case? Cowtown and West Dallas folks, we need to step up. Someone out there knows something—maybe they heard or saw anything unusual on the night of December 6. I hope people who care about their community and Eddie’s family come forward. Let’s help Detective J. Morgan find answers.
