Has anyone been following the news about Teresa and Shawn Reisman's case? I’ve been thinking about their service dog, Zara. It must be so hard for a dog to suddenly lose the two humans they were so closely bonded with. I read that Teresa often had Zara with her during her volunteer work, which not only speaks to Teresa's compassionate nature but also to Zara's gentle demeanor. I can only imagine the confusion and sense of loss a pet might experience in such situations. Does anyone know what typically happens to service animals after tragedies like this? Do they find new homes easily, or is there a process for reassigning them? My heart goes out to the Reisman family, and I hope Zara is getting the care and comfort she needs.
I can't stop thinking about the dedicated work Teresa and Shawn Reisman did for children in their community. It's so moving to hear how both of them were advocates for foster youth through the CASA program. Volunteering like that takes so much heart and dedication. They seemed deeply committed to making a positive impact, especially for those kids who needed guidance the most. It's just so senseless to imagine that two people, who gave so much of themselves to others, could be taken this way. My thoughts are with their family and friends who not only lost loved ones but also very active and influential members of their community. Has anyone heard if there's been any new evidence or leads on what might have happened or why? Their family, especially their children and grandchildren, deserve justice. It’s just so unfair that such kind-hearted individuals were taken so soon.
