It's so unsettling to hear about what happened on South Claiborne that night. I recently found myself thinking about the gas station near where Ernest Robertson was shot. It's a place many of us might pass by without a second thought—maybe even stopped for gas or a quick snack. That stretch of road usually feels hectic but relatively safe, with people just going about their business. It’s jarring to think that such a tragedy could unfold there. I can’t imagine how his family and friends must be feeling right now. It must be incredibly difficult to process the sheer randomness of it all. What’s even more frustrating is the lack of information so far. No leads, no suspects—I just hope this doesn't turn into another cold case. If anyone’s read anything more or knows someone who knew Ernest, it might help to share those details. Sometimes, even the smallest piece of information can shift the direction of an investigation. I pray they find answers soon, not just for the case, but for the people left searching for some semblance of peace.
