It's devastating to see how the community is grappling with Jamahri Sims's death. While I've seen a lot of discussion around what happened that Monday afternoon, I'm curious about how the Tift County High School is handling the aftermath with the students. I can't even imagine what the students and teachers are going through right now, especially with the social-media rumors swirling around. Does anyone know if the school is providing counselors or some form of support for the students? I feel like this is such a critical time for them to have the resources to process what's happened and feel safe. If anyone in the area can share insights on how the school and local organizations are stepping in to help students and families, that would be really beneficial. Keeping Jamahri, his family, and everyone affected in my thoughts.
