I've been following the case of Jason Velasquez, who was tragically shot in Lancaster, and something that's really been tugging at me is the setting where it all happened. The fact that he was found in a parking lot near an alleged illegal gambling site makes me wonder about who else was there. Were they friends, strangers, or people he trusted? The environment of these places can be so unpredictable and dangerous, and it's horrible to think that what might have been a harmless night out turned so violent.
