I still can't get over the tragic loss of Damon Jay McGee. It's hard to wrap my mind around such violence happening to someone so young. As each day passes, I keep thinking about Damon's family and the overwhelming sadness they must be experiencing. The pain of losing a child is unimaginable, and having this happen so suddenly makes it even worse. What hits me the most is how the community seems to be struggling to find safety and peace. With two teenage shootings in one week, it's unsettling to think that this is a pattern. Damon deserved to feel safe in his own home, and it breaks my heart that he didn't get that chance. On a different note, has anyone heard any updates about the investigation? It's been a few days, and I hope they're able to find answers soon. Damon and his family deserve justice, and it would make a difference to know that the person responsible is being held accountable. Let's keep the conversations going and help in whatever way we can. My thoughts are with Damon's loved ones and everyone affected by this senseless act.
