Hi everyone, This case truly shakes me. I’ve been thinking a lot about the community response after Jaisiah Owens' tragic death. Friends and family gathered at Red Arrow Park for a candlelight vigil, and I can only imagine how emotional that must have been. It’s clear that Jaisiah was loved deeply, and that community support is vital during such a painful time. Those gatherings often bring some comfort, even in the smallest ways, by showing solidarity and remembering the person who was lost. Given how tense this situation is, I wonder if the vigil might also play a role in how the community approaches the upcoming trial. Emotions are running high, and the trial process is going to be difficult on everyone involved. My thoughts and prayers are with Jaisiah’s family as they navigate this incredibly trying period. It’s important for us to continue supporting each other and seeking justice. How do the rest of you feel about the influence of community events like this one on both the investigation and the support for the family?
