I've been thinking a lot about the friends and teammates of Mycheal Edwards-Wallace and how they must be coping with this tragic loss. Can you imagine having just celebrated your high school graduation, full of dreams and plans, only to have them shattered overnight? Mycheal was not only a promising young football player but also someone who was clearly loved by many. His peers at Kingstree High School and Newberry College must be struggling to wrap their heads around this senseless act. I hope they’re finding some comfort in each other and in remembering the good times they shared. It breaks my heart to know that his potential will never be fully realized. Does anyone know if there’s been any tributes or memorials held by his school? It would be great to hear how the community is supporting these young folks through such a difficult time.
