I was reading more about Treasure Thomas's case, and I can't help but feel deeply for her friends and family who are left grappling with her sudden loss. It’s devastating to think about how a night meant for socializing turned into such a tragedy. I keep thinking about those last moments and how Treasure must have felt when everything unfolded so violently. What’s really chilling is learning about the pattern of violence Malik Blanchard seems involved in, especially with the new indictment related to a separate incident. It underscores a larger issue of recurring violence and its impact on people, families, and communities. I wonder if there were any missed opportunities to intervene before it got to this point. My thoughts go out to anyone who knew and loved Treasure. No one should ever have to experience such a deep and senseless loss.
