It's been really frustrating watching the investigation into Shawn Baskins' case unfold—or lack thereof. One thing that's been nagging at me is the whole setup with the truck's hood being up and the cab being cluttered. Does anyone else wonder what they were doing there in the first place at that hour? It seems so odd, like it's pointing to something more specific than just being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Imagine the fear and chaos in those moments, and yet this piece doesn't seem to fit the picture we have so far.
I'm not trying to speculate wildly or throw blame around. I just feel terrible for Shawn's family and everyone else involved. They deserve answers, not uncertainty hanging over them.
