I’ve been following the case of Catherine and Webster Jones, and it’s weighing heavily on my mind. It's tragic to think about how a couple who spent so many years together in Greenville could end up with such a heartbreaking ending. While I understand the coroner’s findings of murder-suicide, I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around what might have led to such an outcome after 84 years of life. It's unfathomable to contemplate what they must have been going through. It’s important to remember these weren’t just names in an investigation, but beloved members of their community who've undoubtedly touched many lives. As the community processes this shock, I hope there’s comfort in the memories shared and the love they undoubtedly inspired over the years.
