I have been following the tragic case of Nkechi Sprowal, and something about the timing of events on the night she was killed just doesn’t sit right with me. The fact that she was targeted so precisely outside Deliverance Evangelistic Church makes it seem like the perpetrator had intimate knowledge of her schedule or movements. What strikes me most is the eerie accuracy of the attack around 1 a.m. You have to wonder if the shooter had been watching Nkechi or lying in wait. Did she have a routine that someone could have used to predict her location at that exact time? Or was there something specific drawing her to the area at that hour, which the attacker knew about? The detectives seem to have pieced together surveillance footage and witness statements quickly, which leads me to believe that there were significant leads from the start. But how did the suspect, Shaheed Kilber, become the focus so fast—was there a prior connection to Nkechi? My heart truly goes out to her family and friends as they process this immense loss. They deserve answers and justice for Nkechi, who should still be here with them.
