I was reading about Catherine Millican's case today, and I can't stop thinking about the impact her murder must have had on her community and loved ones. As an employee at the local telephone company, she probably interacted with so many people daily, and it breaks my heart to think of all the lives she touched that were left in shock and sadness. Imagine losing someone so full of life and talent—an avid photographer at such a young age. The fact that she was just out there trying to capture the beauty of nature when this horrific event happened is beyond tragic. It's really unsettling to think that her case could be linked to the other murders in the Connecticut River Valley. These are human lives we’re talking about—real people who deserved so much more. I sincerely hope that advances in technology or someone with crucial information will eventually lead to a resolution. My thoughts are with her family and all the other families affected by these terrible events. If only there was some way to comfort them or bring them some answers after all these years.
