I’ve been thinking a lot about the memorial for Kyle. It’s truly moving to see how much love this community has for him, especially with the balloon release event. It shows that he touched a lot of lives around here. I read that he was a man of faith and I can't help but think how much his presence must have offered comfort to his family and friends. It’s hard to imagine what they’re going through right now, knowing that someone they loved deeply is no longer with them because of senseless violence. I hope the memorial, in a small way, provided them with a little bit of peace in the storm they’re facing. For anyone who went, did it bring you any solace? I'm sure Kyle’s spirit was there with everyone, lifting those balloons right up to the heavens. Let's continue to keep his family in our thoughts and push for answers to bring them justice.
