Hey everyone,
I've been following the case of Raqiese Cohen, and I can't stop thinking about the surveillance images that were released. It's been weeks, and it seems like we're still no closer to finding the person responsible. I can only imagine how hard it must be for Raqiese's family, hoping for justice and waiting for answers.
It's just unsettling to think that the person seen in those images is still out there, and yet there seems to be so little information available. I'm curious if anyone around the Robert Fulton Houses the night of the shooting might have noticed something unusual, maybe even before the argument broke out? Anything at all might help bring some closure to his loved ones.
Please keep Raqiese and his family in your thoughts, and let's hope that justice is served soon.
Stay safe, everyone.
Hey everyone,
I've been following the Raqiese Cohen case closely, and I can't stop thinking about the role of community spaces in our neighborhoods. The fact that this tragedy unfolded during a graduation barbecue—a moment meant for celebration—feels incredibly jarring. It’s heartbreaking to think that a place where residents gather and form bonds can also become a crime scene.
I just keep wondering about the impact on the community at Robert Fulton Houses. How do residents cope after witnessing such violence in their own backyard? I hope there’s some kind of community support or counseling available to those affected. Events like this can leave deep emotional scars, not just for friends and family but for anyone who was there or lives in the area.
Has anyone heard if anything is being done in terms of community initiatives or increased security to prevent something like this from happening again? It's just such a loss that Raqiese's life ended this way. My thoughts go out to everyone who knew him and are dealing with the aftermath.
Stay safe out there.
