I keep thinking about Destiny's role in the community and her influence on the younger generation, especially the girls who looked up to her during her time with the Lady Mustangs. I came across a post in a local forum where someone shared memories of her mentorship at a youth basketball camp last summer. It's clear she was a strong presence and a positive role model for so many. It's devastating that such a vibrant light was taken prematurely. It’s important to remember how she lived and all the futures she inspired, not just the circumstances we know now. If anyone has more stories or thoughts from those days on the team or the community events she was part of, please share. I think it would help us all keep her legacy alive.
