Hey everyone, I've been following this discussion and just wanted to share a thought that's been on my mind. It's so deeply saddening how someone like Abede Fernandez could find himself in such a tragic situation. From all accounts, it seems like he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time on that fateful day. One thing that really stands out to me is the police's request for any tips from the public. With so many people likely around Lenox Avenue at that time of day, I can't help but think there's gotta be someone who saw or heard something that could help lead to justice for Abede. Does anyone know if there were any community meetings or outreach efforts in Flatbush to support his family and gather more information? I can't imagine the pain his loved ones are going through, not knowing if the person responsible will be caught. I hope more folks come forward with info, even if they're not sure it's significant.
