Just thinking about what Elijah's family must be going through makes my heart heavy. While the arrest of Darell Bailey is a step forward for justice, I can't shake the feeling that we're still in the dark about the "why." Why did this have to happen? Elijah was just 16, riding his bike, living his life. I'm from the area and I know Walnut Park East has its struggles, but it’s easy to forget these aren’t just stories - real families are affected every time something like this happens. I really hope people who might know more are willing to come forward, for Elijah’s sake and for his family who have already lost so much. Sending out some positive thoughts to everyone affected by this terrible tragedy. ?️
