I can't stop thinking about the community impact this tragic incident has had, especially with it happening so close to Riverside Elementary. It's terrifying to imagine what those kids and teachers must have gone through during the lockdown, not knowing what was happening just outside their doors. I hope the school provides counselors or support to help them process this traumatic experience. Terry'ondra was so young, just 22, with a whole life ahead of him. It's devastating that his life was cut short like this, and my heart goes out to his family. I can't begin to imagine the pain they're experiencing right now. I'm really hoping justice is served and that the community can come together to prevent more violence like this from happening. My thoughts are with everyone affected.
