Was anyone else struck by how the location of Derek Harrison's murder was in such a heavily trafficked area in Kansas City? I can't help but think about all those small businesses and apartments that line Independence Avenue. It's hard to imagine that no one saw or heard anything that could help investigators. I really hope that someone comes forward with footage or information. It’s all so senseless, and the impact this has had on Derek’s family and friends must be profound. My heart truly goes out to them, and I can only hope they find the justice they’re seeking. We need our community to rally together and help the police solve these kinds of crimes.
