I've been thinking a lot about how this tragedy affects the communities involved, especially that part of Jackson. It's terrible to think about how familiar spots like the Friends Corner Food Mart can suddenly become sites of violence. I can’t help but wonder how the local community is coping with this. Are they getting more support from local authorities to prevent incidents like this in the future? Seeing a young life like Joshua's cut short in such a violent way is devastating, and my heart goes out to his family and friends who must be dealing with unimaginable pain. It seems like there's so much work to be done to address the root causes of these incidents to hopefully prevent more families from enduring this kind of loss.

While the news is focused on the arrest of Kamran Boclair and his mother, we shouldn't forget about the people left grieving a senseless loss. I hope the community can come together to support everyone affected and that those responsible face the justice they deserve. These incidents keep happening, and it's heartbreaking for the families and the neighborhoods where violence becomes a recurring nightmare. Joshua deserved so much more, and I hope his memory can somehow be a catalyst for change in Jackson.
