Has anyone looked into the location where Jermaine's backpack was found? Lino Lakes isn't too far from Forest Lake, but it seems like an odd place for it to turn up, especially in a trash bin. I wonder if someone was trying to get rid of evidence or send a message. There's talk about Greer getting rid of it to prevent identity theft, but I'm not buying it. If that was really the case, why not just keep the backpack at home or hand it over to the police? It seems fishy to toss it in the trash like that. Does anyone here know more about that area or if there were any security cameras nearby around the time his backpack was found? It feels like this detail might hold some clues, and maybe somebody has seen something that didn't seem important at the time.
I recently came across Jermaine Hunter's case, and one thing that's been bugging me is the whole deal about Greer discarding his backpack. I understand she said it was to prevent identity theft, but what puzzles me is the timing. Why toss it in a trash bin instead of keeping it somewhere safe until Jermaine was in contact again? I can't shake off the feeling that there's more to this than meets the eye.
And then there's the accusation from Greer’s brother – it's a serious allegation, but why bring it up around the same time Jermaine goes missing? With no evidence against him, it almost seems like an attempt to deflect or create a different narrative. The fact that both are persons of interest is telling, but it still doesn’t fill in all the gaps. Has there been any update on Ross's involvement, especially since he's in prison now? Curious if there’s still ongoing investigations or if this is just another tragic cold case piling up.
