It's been on my mind lately how eerily quiet the neighborhood must have been just before the tragedy unfolded on that night in the Martin Luther King Jr. area. It's chilling to think of the moment Cameron was outside, probably unaware of the danger that would soon follow. The idea that someone can enter a peaceful neighborhood, commit such a horrific act, and disappear is unsettling. It really makes me think about the safety of our communities and how quickly things can change. I truly hope his family finds the answers they're seeking, and that the person responsible is brought to justice. For those who knew Cameron, I can't imagine the pain they're experiencing every time they walk down those streets. It's so important that we all come together and support his family and friends, however we can, and keep pushing for answers. If anyone out there knows something, even the tiniest detail could be the key to solving this. This young man deserves justice, and his family does too.
