I was reading through various reports and discussions about Eric Armstrong's tragic murder, and something that caught my attention was the silence surrounding the night he was killed. I know that area on West Wilcox Street isn't the quietest part of Chicago, even in the middle of a hot summer night. It makes me wonder if local residents heard anything unusual that could point to what happened before the police arrived. It's so frustrating and sad to see another community member lost without answers, particularly in a neighborhood with its share of struggles. I can't imagine the pain Eric's family and friends are going through, especially knowing there might be people out there who saw or heard something that could help bring those responsible to justice. Has anyone heard of any community efforts to hold a vigil or rally for Eric? Sometimes coming together like that can encourage people to speak up and share what they know. Eric deserves justice, and his loved ones deserve some peace. Let's hope that with continued attention, someone will step forward with information that can help the investigation move forward.
