Did anyone else find it strange how Ewers' missing vehicle ended up at Treasure Island Hotel months later? It seems highly unusual that the suspect would leave the vehicle in such a public place unless they wanted it to be found eventually. Could there be a connection between the suspect and the hotel? Maybe the suspect frequents the area or even works there? I feel for Ewers' family; this new detail just adds another layer of mystery to an already tragic situation. Also, it's strange that no one from Ewers' circle knew who he was hiking with. I'm hoping that the composite sketch leads to some answers. It's unsettling to think someone out there knows what happened but hasn't come forward yet. Stay safe, everyone.

I’ve been following the tragic case of Dr. Duane Ewers, and something has been nagging at me. Why would Ewers go hiking so late at night, especially with someone none of his family or friends knew? It seems out of character for someone who loved hiking to take such a risk. Was the suspect someone Ewers met through an online hiking group or an acquaintance built on shared interests? The fact that the suspect was seen before and after the incident makes me wonder if there was more to their relationship than we understand. And then there’s his vehicle being found at Treasure Island months later. Could the suspect have stayed there or used it to divert attention? It’s such a senseless loss, and my heart goes out to Dr. Ewers' loved ones who must be desperate for answers. If anyone here has any theories or insights into why Ewers would have agreed to hike at such an odd hour, I’d like to hear your thoughts. We need to help the LVMPD piece together the puzzle and get justice for Ewers.

Hey everyone, I've been following the tragic case of Duane Ewers, and one thing that's really bothering me is the suspect's mysterious connection to him. How is it that none of Ewers' family or friends knew about who he was hiking with that night? It seems so odd, especially given that Ewers was an experienced hiker and a retired anesthesiologist—someone you’d think would be cautious about his companions. Could it be possible that this person was someone Ewers met recently, maybe at a local hiking group or club? Or perhaps they connected online somehow, which would explain why his usual circles didn't know about this individual. It also makes me wonder if the suspect had targeted Ewers for some reason. It's chilling to think he might have been specifically chosen for reasons unknown to us. My heart goes out to Ewers’ loved ones. They must be going through unimaginable pain, not only from losing him in such a cruel way but also from the many unanswered questions left behind. If anyone has more background on how Ewers typically planned his hikes or chose his hiking partners, it might provide some clues. Thanks for reading, and let’s hope for swift justice in this case. Stay safe out there.
