Was anyone in the area on that Friday night when Demarion was tragically taken? I can't stop thinking about his family and friends and how it must feel to have lost him so suddenly. The stretch of West Arthington Street is like so many others—just a part of our everyday paths—yet it's become a site of profound loss. It's unsettling how life for everyone there can change in an instant because of senseless violence. I hope the community can come together to support Demarion’s loved ones. There's still someone out there who knows what happened, and I really hope they step forward. Keep safe, everyone, and hold those you love close.
I can't stop thinking about the ripple effects of what happened to Demarion Ligon. It’s tough knowing that his family and friends are now facing a lifetime of questions and loss.
