I've been following the case of Keilan Ray Denwitty, and my heart goes out to his family and friends who are still seeking answers. I wanted to bring up the issue of the area where he was shot, around Pesante Road and College Avenue. I used to live in Bakersfield, and that part of town has always been a bit sketchy, especially late at night. It makes me question if there were any known safety concerns or recent incidents in the neighborhood that might be related to Keilan's tragic death. I hope that anyone in the community with information comes forward to give his loved ones some much-needed closure. It's unimaginable what they are going through, and hopefully, the increased attention can lead to a break in the case. Anyone else familiar with this area have thoughts?
