Hey everyone, I've been following the discussion about David Carmona's tragic murder, and something's been on my mind. Did anyone else notice the lack of surveillance footage in the area? It's 2025, and cameras are nearly everywhere, especially in cities like Chicago. I can't help but wonder why there's no mention of any video evidence or leads from cameras near 48th and Damen. Carmona was just a young man running a simple errand, and it's absolutely devastating that his family is left without answers. Given how close this was to his home, it's hard to believe no camera picked up anything that could point investigators in the right direction. I really hope the detectives are pushing for all the available footage from local businesses and public places around there. Is the lack of surveillance footage common in the Back of the Yards neighborhood? Can anyone who lives nearby share more insight? Justice for David and some peace for his family should be the first priority – especially in such a senseless act of violence. Stay safe, everyone, and let's keep this conversation going for David and his family.
