Hi everyone,
I came across this case recently and it's been on my mind ever since. I just keep thinking about the missing van. It feels significant, right? Like, whoever did this had to have a reason for taking it and dumping it in the desert. Was it a panic move, or was it planned? I suppose it could have been an attempt to make it look like a robbery gone wrong, but I'm no expert. It's frustrating how this piece of the puzzle hasn’t led to any suspects.
I really hope that someday someone comes forward with information that can shed light on this, for the sake of Agnes and Sharyn’s loved ones. They deserve answers after all these years. If anyone has thoughts or theories about the van's role in all this, I'd love to hear them. Let's keep discussing and maybe we can keep this case alive enough to finally bring some closure.

It's hard not to feel a deep sense of sorrow for the Burkin family when thinking about this tragic case. It's been over two decades, and the image of Agnes and Sharyn brutally murdered in their own home is just so unsettling. I'm particularly puzzled about the missing van. It seems like such a significant piece of evidence that could potentially link someone to the crime. Was it just a means for the killer to flee the scene, or could it hold more answers? The fact it was found abandoned in the desert makes me wonder if any trace evidence could have survived in that harsh environment. My thoughts are with their loved ones, and I truly hope someone who knows something will come forward to help bring closure to this case. Has anyone heard about any new leads or developments over the years? It'd be great if we could keep this discussion active and maybe even shed some light on anything that could help the investigation.
Hi everyone,
I've been thinking about the level of planning that went into the Burkin murders, particularly the decision to move the van. It's almost as if the perpetrator wanted to create a sense of chaos, leading investigators away from the crime scene. Why take the risk of driving it to a remote desert area and leaving it there? It just feels so deliberate, like they had a clear intention behind it.
I can't imagine what the family has gone through over these years, knowing there were multiple steps involved to try and cover up this crime. The decision to set multiple fires and then abandon the van seems planned, maybe indicating someone familiar with the area?
There must be someone out there with information about who could've done this, or who had a motive against these two women, who by all accounts, were kind and beloved by those around them. It's crucial that we keep sharing their story so that any small piece of information can come to light.
Hoping for answers soon,
