I came across Gregory Scott Brewer's case while digging into unsolved crimes, and it's just been on my mind. Brewer was shot during a robbery at his bar, Duffy's III Tavern, back in '99. It's been over two decades, and the suspect, thought to be a Hispanic male in his 20s or early 30s, still hasn't been found. What keeps me up is thinking about how this crime has impacted the community around Nellis Boulevard. As a business owner, Brewer was likely a familiar face to many locals. It must be tough for the regulars and his loved ones to not have any closure after all this time. Has anyone heard anything about advances in this case recently? Maybe DNA technology or new witnesses coming forward could finally start connecting the dots. Just hoping for some kind of breakthrough to bring peace to the people who knew him.
