I woke up thinking about Hector Perez today and how tragic and senseless his death was. I can't help but wonder about the impact it had on those kids who were with him on the night of October 9, 2001. They've probably carried the trauma of witnessing such a horrific event all these years. It's incredibly frustrating that after so much time, there's still no solid lead to help solve this case. The fact that the incident was even covered on AMERICA’S MOST WANTED just goes to show how desperate everyone is for any piece of information that could lead to justice for Hector. For his family and friends, I can't even begin to imagine the pain of not having answers. If you're out there and know anything, even the smallest detail, please reach out to the authorities. Keeping silent only lets the person responsible walk free. Hector and his loved ones deserve closure.
