I’ve been following the tragic incident involving Princeton C. Miller and couldn’t help but think about the impact of gun violence on families and communities. It breaks my heart to see yet another family affected by such senseless violence. I can’t even imagine what his loved ones must be going through right now, trying to make sense of this loss. The fact that someone involved drove himself to the hospital makes me wonder about people’s state of mind following such a violent encounter. Was he in shock, or did he just want to get away from the scene as quickly as possible? It's chilling to think about how a moment of chaos on North Halsted Street escalated into such a dire situation. I hope the community can come together to support Princeton’s family during this incredibly difficult time and that justice is served for him. Gun violence is such a pressing issue, and stories like this highlight the urgent need for change. My thoughts are with all those who knew and loved Princeton.
