This case leaves me feeling a mixture of anger and sadness. Stephan R. Hammond had just turned 18. That's such a young age to have his future stolen away. I can't stop thinking about what his friends and family must be going through right now. It makes you wonder, what kind of world are we living in when lives are ended so senselessly? What really has me on edge is the fact that four guns were found at the scene. I mean, who or what was going on that required that level of firepower? It makes you think, was Stephan in the wrong place at the wrong time, or was he targeted for some unknown reason? The lack of answers must be frustrating for everyone who knew him. It's maddening that there are no suspects or known motives yet. I truly hope Area Three detectives can bring about some justice and peace for Stephan and his loved ones. Sending love and support to them during this unimaginable time.
