Has anyone else been following the case of Jason Demar Robinson? I keep thinking about how the confrontation took place at such a public spot like a gas station. It's scary to think about how these things can happen in places we visit every day. My heart goes out to Jason's family and friends; they must be going through an unimaginably tough time. I can't stop wondering about what really led to the shooting. Were there any signs of danger leading up to this? Did anyone witness anything unusual in the days or hours before? It's so sad that a dispute ended in such tragic circumstances. I'm also curious about the community's response since the incident made it onto Bay Area violence tracking sites. Does anyone know if local groups are doing anything in particular to honor his memory or address violence in the area? It seems like we need more dialogue around these issues to prevent future tragedies. Stay safe, everyone.
