I recently came across the Charles Conner case while diving deep into unsolved mysteries. One angle that got me thinking is about Ralph Forsythe’s claim that the gun was loaded with blanks. Has anyone looked into whether that claim was ever verified? With how quickly everything happened, panic might’ve clouded some memories, but the others witnessing the event—did any of them actually remember checking the gun afterward? It's such a bizarre piece of the story, and if true, it might suggest Forsythe didn't have a clear motive to kill Conner, potentially pointing to an accident. But then again, it's hard to make sense of someone making such a careless mistake, especially given Forsythe's criminal background. Maybe there's something more to it that we’re missing? Would love to hear thoughts or any info that I might not have come across yet!
