Devon Allen Trowell, a 21-year-old man from Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania, was tragically shot and killed on September 17, 2017, in the Homewood South neighborhood of Pittsburgh. The incident occurred early in the morning, around 12:45 a.m., when emergency crews responded to a ShotSpotter alert on the 7500 block of Hamilton Avenue.
