Devon Allen Trowell, a 21-year-old man from Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania, was tragically shot and killed on September 17, 2017, in the Homewood South neighborhood of Pittsburgh. The incident occurred early in the morning, around 12:45 a.m., when emergency crews responded to a ShotSpotter alert on the 7500 block of Hamilton Avenue. Upon arrival, they found Devon lying unresponsive in the street with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, where he was later pronoun ...
