I’ve been following Dennis Atkinson’s case, and my heart truly goes out to his family. I wanted to talk about the ShotSpotter alert because this technology is supposed to help in situations like this. From what I understand, it can pinpoint where gunshots are fired pretty quickly, but I can't help but wonder if there's more it could do to help solve cases like Dennis's. Has anyone else noticed if ShotSpotter has made a big difference in similar cases? I feel like if it helps police get on scene faster, that's a huge plus, but I’m curious if it aids in piecing together crucial evidence afterward. It's frustrating to think that even with this tech, a life has been lost and someone out there still knows what happened and hasn’t spoken up. I really hope more witnesses find the courage to come forward so Dennis’s family can find some peace. Sending strength to everyone affected.

Has anyone else been following the Dennis Atkinson case and heard any updates about potential suspects? I keep thinking about his loved ones and how they must be feeling with no answers yet. It's alarming to think about how disputes can escalate to such fatal outcomes. The fact that this happened at the corner of Ferry and River Streets makes me wonder if there were any surveillance cameras nearby that might have captured the argument leading up to the shooting.
