Does anyone else find it concerning how quickly life can change forever in just a few moments? My heart goes out to the friends and families of Jesus Rosales and Edgar Gomez. I keep thinking about that third teen who survived the attack. I can’t imagine what he must be going through right now, both physically and emotionally. Survivor’s guilt is a heavy burden, especially when experiencing a tragedy like this at such a young age. I truly hope the community can come together to support him in the days ahead. If anyone has insights on trauma resources in Salinas or how the community might be rallying around him, please share. We often talk about the victims who are gone, but the ones left behind are dealing with their own battle too. Let's keep all of them in our thoughts.
