Hi everyone, I've been following the case of John Lloyd "Buddy" Heflin and wondered if anyone else found it odd about his connection to the Volkswagen? From what I've gathered, Heflin was driving one, but after all these years, the car hasn't surfaced. It's strange considering how distinctive and trackable a vehicle like that would be, especially in a rural area like Starkville. I can't help but wonder if it was intentionally disposed of or hidden. Did anyone from Mississippi around that time notice any unusual activity related to that type of car? Could it have been altered or even sold off in parts? It feels like this missing piece might hold more weight than we realize. Thoughts?
