I’ve been following the tragic case of Randy Schultz and something that hasn’t received as much attention is the impact this has likely had on Randy’s friends and family. Can you imagine what they must be going through? Not only do they have to cope with losing someone dear to them, but there’s also the added layer of media attention and ongoing legal proceedings. I hope those around them are offering support in this unimaginably difficult time, and I wish for them some sense of peace and justice as the investigation unfolds. It’s just heartbreaking how violence disrupts lives in such a profound way.
